Great capture, like the emotion. The skin processing / noise reduction is pushed a little far though; getting very close to the plastic doll look. Kid skin is smooth enough as is, no need to process it further.

It's a beautiful image - incredible eyes and great lighting. However I think it's oversharpened, the eyes are overwhitened, and the cloning for strays could've been cleaner (left of nose, forehead, etc). Also, top right corner could've been worked better. When the challenge is over, I'd love to see the original. Even without all the processing I'm sure it has plenty of heart.
