I don't think a black background was the best choice here. You've got an interesting shape and goold light and colors, but because the glass is clear, the black background interferes and you lose the shape of the objects, especially at the right of the bottle.

This has a lot of potential, but I think your lighting is a little harsh. Did you only use a flash. Also, IMHO, the perspective could be improved. I'd like to see you shooting the lamp shade straight on, so we just get the shape, and don't see the gathered material at the top. I'd also straighten the fringe at the bottom.

I really like the shallow DOF on this one, but IMHO it's a little too shallow. That spiral curve at the tip of the bloom is really interesting, and it goes all fuzzy.

This is a really interesting picture, but to my eye the shapes of the watches aren't the most interesting aspect of the picture. The map is very interesting, too, and my eye goes more to the faces of the watches, not their shapes. It's a good picture, but IMHO, not for a shapes challenge.
