I am captivated by the feminine qualities that are inherent in the conch shell skeleton.

Nice soft colors, but your depth of field if off, the subject is not in sharp focus.

shell seems out of focus

Great idea and excellent composition and lighting but I would like to see more depth of field- using a higher f stop numbet to gst more detail in the ahell. The focus seems to be on the background.

motion blur as well as too narrow depth of field

Good effort, but I really have trouble with focus in this image

Somehow it's uninteresting, sorry that I can't give you any specifics. Maybe it's the poor image quality. 2.

You have this one back focused on the background.

Great idea! Good composition. The lighting works well except for the glare. Having the shell out of focus helps make the subject more abstract, I suppose. But I keep wishing it was focused...

The background seems to be in better focus than the subject. The subject isn't bad, but it is not presented in a very interesting way.

Good idea, however the focus seems to be more on the table then the shell. Also with the bright lighting the shell has lost some detail, maybe blocking some of the light or shooting at a different time of day would have made this jump out more. Good luck - 5

I like the photo, but it seems a little out of focus. Maybe something a little more off-centered (with more of the shadow) would have helped.

This is a lovely shell. I found the it was not quite sharp where the patterns are on it.
