I didn't vote on this challenge, but I would have scored this a 6 or 7. Yes, it's busy, but so is LA. I really like those signs, and the palm tree in the corner is an extra treat.

Nice composition on the plate, but I don't like the slanted perspective -- it looks as if everything is going to slide to the right. I think you tried to get too much into this picture -- it gets cluttered at the back and the orange and blue of the flour bag doesn't really go with the rest of the composition. Also, I think this would have been better on a mat or table, not the kitchen stove. Now that I've trashed you 8), I think you've exposed this well, and everything that should be in focus, is in focus. Keep on shooting. 5

I'm sorry. This just looks unappetizing. It looks as if the avocado is lying in a plate of catsup, and the avocado has a lot of blemishes. You obviously put a lot of thought into the composition. Keep on shooting.
