I Love Boobiesby elsapoComment: Very funny title. Good shot of the blue-footed booby too. You've got really good DOF on the adult, but it seems to fade away on the chicks. Still a nice shot. |

Meditationby vasilkovayaComment: Very cute shot! Looks like they're just having a friendly conversation. The lighting is a bit harsh though - looks like mid-day sun (very difficult to get a good shot in). It's neat that they have the tips of their tails in the water too. The DOF is a little off IMHO too and the colors could use a little bump. Still a nice shot. |

Lionizedby fulgentComment: Is this a photo of a painting? Something about it doesn't look "real". The eyes and cheek/whiskers have so much more detail than the rest of the image (and there's a black spot underneath the lowest whisker that looks unnatural). I like the lighting. If this is a real lion, then I think you should give a tutorial on how you got it to look like a painting! I'm not crazy about the eyes. An interesting shot, nonetheless. |

Feline love by arpitaComment: Great crop & composition. You've got really good DOF too. Lighting is good and it's an endearing photo. This is a fiercely competitive challenge! 9 (Only because there are a few others that are a hair better IMHO - in any other challenge it would probably be a 10.) |

No Independenceby Prime_TimeComment: Great idea and cool image. The background seems a bit overprocessed though - hard to tell what it is and the highlights are blown out. Still, I really like the shot and the title. |

Shut the door!by kcumanComment: Cool shot, but the B/W tones don't work very well for me because the highlights are blown out IMHO. Cute caption though. |

Hippopotamusby BudComment: Great DOF and color. Not sure what it is, but something about the image seems a little off to me - maybe the crop. It seems to have all the right elements, but they aren't fitting together for me (if that makes any sense). It's a good shot, but something keeps me from scoring it higher. (I wish I could be more descriptive and if it dawns on me later, I'll come back and edit this comment, because I imagine all I did was frustrate you - sorry, that was not my intent. I just wanted to be honest.) 6 |

Protected?by aznymComment: VERY emotional shot. It reminds me of some demented scientist's laboratory from the 1930s. Really nice work - I know that for me, whenever people tell me that a photo of mine evoked a strong feeling from them, I feel that I was successful. Good job. |

Are you looking at me?by barbaraanneComment: Very interesting angle - I think it works. The highlights however are a bit blown out - you lose all detail in the white areas. Still, it's a cute shot and a good entry. |
