 We spent about an hour with these bright colorful lories at the Lory Landing in the San Antonio Zoo. While there are more colorful lories, this one seemed to sum up their attitude. Got Nector?

One of his buddies didn't like my camera and kept trying to bite the lens cover. But for most they let me take dozens of pictures while sitting on my hand, shoulder head, son, the rail the rope. You name it as long as the Nector stood out. You've not been groomed til one of these babies starts trying to clean your ears out!

Ches, this is an awesome photo, and a good strong finish. I personally think your score should be closer to what the commenters thought it should be. . but you can't complain about having a picture this good! I love it!!!!

The eye is very sharp but it seems a litle soft in the contour of the head. Good color and position. Love the detail in the eye and in the nose

Neat shot, I like the vibrant colours and reach of the bird across the frame. I also like the frame, it sets off the photo nicely.

Nice soft focus shot. Love the bird, but the background is a bit distracting (too bright). Also, not crazy about this particular border. Still a good shot, nonetheless
