Really a fantastic shot of this little guy. Beautiful DOF and colors. I like the background too (the greens really set off the other colors). You'll probably suffer from some voters who feel this isn't a picture taken in a zoo, but not only are butterflies everywhere at zoos, I've even been to a butterfly zoo/sanctuary - so it works for me! Really nice shot.

Stunning reflection! Really nice job with that. The lighting is a little harsh on the "live" bear and surroundings though - I think you could soften it a little in PS. Wish I could see more detail, but I guess then I'd lose the beautiful reflection... :-/

Still a very nice shot and a unique one in this challenge. It doesn't really look like a zoo to me, but I take off no points off for that - I like the natural looking environment. :-) Good job.

Great detail on the foremost portions of the bird. Beautiful shot of her eye. I'm not crazy about the crop - I want to see more of the bird, and less of her in the dead center of the shot. I like the background. Lighting is a little harsh too, washing out some of the color. Still, a pretty good shot.

Something about the DOF and/or graininess of this photo that bothers me. It's ALMOST perfectly focused, but not quite IMHO. Also, the lighting is pretty harsh (looks like mid-day sun), causing some blown highlights. Still, it's a nicely composed shot.

Magnificent DOF and I like the almost muted colors. The softer focus also works well IMHO. There are a few blown highlights on the white areas, but it's difficult to take off much for this shot. Very nice work.
