Well, this obviously didn't pan out the way I had hoped, BUT (pun intended) I did learn quite a few things... LOL Shoulda gone with my 2nd choice (or better yet, passed on this challenge). Live and learn! At least I got a LOT of interesting comments and suggestions. And, no I'm not disclosing whether or not this was me! ;-) Cheers & on to the next challenge!

GREAT shot! Perfect composition/crop and I like the border. The colors are great too. The only very slight criticism is the lighting here. It doesn't seem quite right for the high key feel this image has - too dark in the shadows and too light in the highlights (make sense?). Granted, that is small potatos compared to the overall impression of the shot - it's really a great capture!

Beautiful warm tones in this shot. Great composition too. (I even like the border) The yellows and oranges in the (cedar?) wood almost overpower the colors and focus of the boots though. Still - very appealing image.
