I've only ever seen 2 before in my life and of course I wasn't into photography then (and I probably wouldn't have had my camera with me anyway!). This is such a cool capture! You even managed to work in a nice composition - I'm impressed! Great job!

Very cool shot - love the effects. Would this have been legal in basic editing? (I know I ran into that problem with some of my potential entries.) Love the dreamy feel. I would have scored it a 7.

Really nice shot! Love the tones. Good composition and pretty good lighting (I realize in basic editing, there's a lot you can't fix - like the washed out areas of the sky/background). I'd have probably scored it a 6-7.

EDIT: Sorry, didn't read the whole thread. I realize now you probably used the dodge brush to lighten the center. Personally, I think it would be better without the haloed glow.

This is really great! The angle and crop IMHO make this shot. Sure the lighting, tones, and high key look are good, but it's the perspective you've created that really gives this image its emotion and visual impact. Very nice work.

This is really a great shot! Fantastic stop action with vivid contrasts and tones. Exceptional clarity and lighting too (in what I'm sure was less than ideal conditions). Very good work.

Beautiful horse - with bizarrely fascinating eyes. Great composition and overall feel to the shot, but the glare from the left side of the horse is a little strong IMHO. I know it's supposed to be high contrast, but I think it only needs to be as light as the dark areas are black. Still overall very strong entry.

Really beautiful composition and lighting. There appears to be an odd shaped lighter area around some of the objects (that looks like processing remnants) that is distracting, but that's really the only thing I can find negative about the shot. Very nice job overall.

What great lines and composition! Really beautiful job here. My only suggestion would be to perhaps make the black border more of a dark silver to match some of the tones in the image. Otherwise, great job!

This is another beautiful portrait of you! Great shadows and lines. Very nice detail and composition. My only very minor critical observation is that the skin tones are mottled on my monitor. If it weren't for that, I'd say 10. As is, still a very strong entry and an 8. :-)
