Great composition and pose. Certainly meets the challenge, but I think the highlights are a tad blown out - even for high contrast. Also, not crazy about the background - doesn't seem to match the overall mood you're trying to establish IMHO. Still a strong entry.

Love the tones - they are great - and really like the long exposure. I'm not crazy about the border though and the horizon seems off to me (and not in the artistic way). Great composition otherwise and certainly meets the challenge well.

I don't get the title, but that's okay. I like the tones of the shot and the composition/crop. The focus is a hair off IMHO (not that every shot has to be tack sharp), but a solid entry. (pun intended!) ;-)

Fantastic idea and very well executed. Perfectly meets the challenge. My only issue with the image is the texture of the masks. It may sound odd, but the fact that they are fuzzy (in texture, not focus) doesn't seem to match the feel/mood of the shot. I envision something hard and smooth. Still, very strong entry.

This is a great shot. My biggest issue with it though is the graininess of the sky. Actually it seems to get grainier the further back you go. Otherwise, the contrasts are great and the composition is awesome.

Great composition - I love the minimalist feel. I also really like the contrast, but think that the light is actually a tad too bright. The focus is good, but not quite tack sharp and I see strange spots around parts of the flower and stem that look like processing remnants from something. I also think the flower looks a bit wilted (which could have been on purpose). I know it sounds like I had lots of negative things to say, but honestly it's a very good idea and a really good shot.

Beautiful lines and colors in this shot and the focus is very good. My only criticism of the shot is personal interest in the subject matter. Yes, it's pretty and has nice lines, but it doesn't really grab me. Don't get me wrong, I think it is visually quite pleasing and technically it's a great shot. 7

Wow... The deepness and richness of the tones in this image are incredible. The focus seems tack sharp too. It may be a tad on the dark side, but absolutely beautiful composition. Bumping way up.
