Humming Birdby moviemanComment: Great capture! These little creatures are NOT easy to shoot! I like the way you composed the shot and presented it - makes it really look like time is standing still. Nice job. |

A child's joyby samanwarComment: Great capture! Cute story too! LOL Nice score & finish. The lighting is a little harsh IMHO, but I love the composition. Good job! |

Stump & Streamby rjksteschComment: This shot does look a little offbalance. I think the exposure may have been a bit too long IMHO, making the water appear unreal. The black dots can be fixed easily enough in editing, but not sure that the composition/crop is all it could be - I would consider cropping more off of the right. |

chicago-curves-1.jpgby alfrescoComment: Very cool composition. Reminds me of a big wave - especially with all of the blue tones in the image. Good capture. |

Blue Ridge Sunsetby rjksteschComment: Beautiful shot - Love the tonal range. The image looks a little grainy and like the contrast may be turned up a little too high, but it's hard to argue with a solid score and finish. :-) Nice job!
EDIT: And of course I'm gonna like it because it's in my backyard! Message edited by author 2005-10-27 12:12:21. |

God's "Goodnight"by jpochardComment: Beautiful sunset and I love the color extremes, but agree that the contrast seems to be turned up a bit too much. |

Tree Linesby MakkaComment: Great focus and composition. I tend to agree with the other commenters though - full color doesn't seem to give it as much impact as it might have in B/W or in duotones. Have you considered burning and using sepia? Still, a good shot as is. |
