the edgeby RikkiComment: Not for a thousand dollars would you catch me standing there like that! I'd keel over and fall from nausea and dizziness. HAHAHA...
Spectacular capture once again though. I'm still going back and forth about the centered composition here. I like it, but something in me would still like to see it offset - I think it's because of the shape of the promentory (is that a word?) rock you're standing on. The B/W is killer and the lighting play with the shadows is awesome. The view is amazing, along with the clarity of the shot. Visually, creatively, and technically all of these shots are just kickass! ;-) |

yosemite fallsby RikkiComment: Great capture! Looks like you caught the light just right to make the shadows interesting too. Well seen and exceptionally well presented. Love the B/W here. |

river's edgeby RikkiComment: This is really cool! It looks like the entire forest floor is a river or that this water is just springing from everywhere. Again good exposure length for the water effects. I wasn't sure about the blue overtones at first, but they've grown on me - gives the whole image a very mystical feel. Beautiful work. |

reflectionsby RikkiComment: This one doesn't hold as much interest for me as the other ones, however it's still a very good shot. I like the enormity of the sequoia in the reflection on the right and the green of the grasses. I think I'm probably accustomed to seeing a lot of forests and streams, so it is less effective personally. I do like the soft natural color tones though. |

solitudeby RikkiComment: Way to make the most of what's available in the shot. The selective desat is great - definitely the way to go, as the background would just be too busy and distracting otherwise. Well seen and presented. |

strengthby RikkiComment: This is TERRIFIC! Love the pose and the lighting. Perfect exposure length too. Well done. These B/Ws are really great. You seem to have mastered this "new" style pretty darn quickly! ;-) |

the overlookby RikkiComment: Breathtaking view. This one seems a little dark to me in the earth portion and a little light in the cloud portion, causing a little loss of detail/contrast - although that may be an artistic choice. It's a spectacular shot nonetheless. |

Patienceby GiorgioComment: Great texture! I think the noise really adds to the leaf, but not sure it helps the fly. Any thoughts about masking him? I think it might make the whole image pop even more - it's great as is though. Nice work. |
