A great landscape shot. To see that it's shot with an SD400 is even more amazing. Excellent work. |

My immediate reaction was that you have wrongly titled this ... 'awe' or 'awesome' seem to be more appropriate ... and a lot of other people see that too. I wonder if you need so much space on the right of the picture ... it is a bit dead ... and has nothing of interest to draw the eye. |

Nice. The only thing I would have liked better is if you took a more adventurous angle in the shot. Ok a lame pun but what I mean is an extreme angle coupled with the extreme environment would have gone rather nicely, IMO. Say shot at a much lower angle looking up rather than straight on? And also maybe slide the tripod a bit more to the left so you could get more of your side profile in the shot making it more obvious you are looking up? |

Even though the individual faces the waterfall, from the stance he is in you real get the feeling that he is in awe of the waterfall. Wonderfully composed! |

This is TERRIFIC! Love the pose and the lighting. Perfect exposure length too. Well done. These B/Ws are really great. You seem to have mastered this "new" style pretty darn quickly! ;-) |

This ones great. conveys such a sense of wonder and shows just how grand the waterfall is much better than if there were not a person there. |

I like the pose! Gives a great sense of awe and wonder. I do wish that the backpack was a bit less in shadow, but it's a minor point. I guess I am just trying to make sense of all the straps there :-)
I just noticed the path to the left. It's interesting that you're standing on the rocks. Kind of like, wow, the waterfall is so awesome that you are drawn off the path and onto the rocks to get a better look. |
