Emerald Flowby LVicariComment: Stunning... The oversaturation works beautifully here. The composition is terrific and the lighting/vignetting is superb. It's almost "too much", but not quite. 9 from me. |

Day Breakby jrjrComment: Great tonal range and amazing composition. This is so free-flowing and natural, yet ominous and emotive - even peaceful. Wonderful work. |

Wild fox siblings in the Rocky Mountainsby jimsappComment: What an amazing capture? In the wild or in a zoo (not that it really matters)? Great eye for spotting this and great skill for capturing it and presenting it so beautifully. Well done. |

Bathing Snow Whiteby rhommelComment: REALLY tough to find much of anything wrong with this... Gorgeous subject, editing, composition, tones, and lighting. Perfect catchlights. The focus seems just a "hair" on the soft side (but this is a soft portrait, I understand). I even like the almost plastic skin (I assume from NI or NN). I know it sounds like I don't like this, but it couldn't be further from the truth... I guess I'm trying to explain why I'm giving it a 9 instead of a 10. :-D |

My yellow houseby silverfoxxComment: This is weird as all-get-out... I LOVE IT! HAHAHA! Really sharp technical work - and VERY creative. Definitely high marks from me. I'm bumping this up to a 10 because I can't get it out of my head. I'm also making it a favorite. This is REALLY unique and exceptional. :-) |

The Forgottenby SimmsComment: This is so "Heida" to me... (Except it's probably warmer in light & tones than her work tends to be.) Fantastic processing and an exceptional transformation from the ordinary to the extraordinary. 9 |

Screaming Bald Eagleby AlainComment: This is a terrific shot. Perfect composition. Good lighting and tones. The only thing that bothers me (VERY slightly) is the eagle's eye - almost doesn't look real. Was this a live bird or a stuffed one? (Not that it really matters that much, I'm just curious...) You get a 9 from me either way. |
