Please listen closely as our menu options have changed.by
_DaveA_Comment: Sincere thanks to everyone who took the time to comment on this shot and give such positive feedback. The DPC community is
very cool and it's really great to be part of it. I only wish, as I’m sure everybody does, that there were more time in a day to spend here.
OK, as far as the title goes, which seemed be more controversial than shooting with an IR filter (although IR shots
do seem to get people excited in one way or another), please know that I meant no disrespect to the "residents" there. Yeah it’s weird, but can we all agree that the “menu options” in this serene setting have changed? And if so, just imagine listening closely…
Obviously not in any way, shape or form comparing this to Picasso’s work, but what we are all doing here on DPC is Art, right? Or at the very least, art. Either way, I think something he said might be appropriate: “Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life”. Certainly that silly recording that we are forced to listen to when we call a business while we're simply trying to “communicate” but are, from the onset, thwarted by this audio "roadblock", could be defined as “dust of everyday life”. Or maybe even dirt.
