Post Challenge
Thank you to all for all the comments and especially for my highest score to date (although not my highest place)! And to think it occurred in a minimal editing challenge.

This photo was shot on the last day of the challenge during a snowshoe hike on Mt. Baker in Washington State at about the 5,000 foot level. After getting home that evening, due to the minimal editing rules, I only needed to do a quick edit and was able to submit in time.

Snowshoeing at the tree line in the North Cascades is a wonderful experience that I hope you all get to experience someday. This day was in and out of clouds and snow showers. I was able to catch these high cirrus clouds in between small squalls.

This is awesome. Having to hike to see it makes it that much more beautiful.

I wish the small trees to the left had been cropped off but I still give this a 9.

I just can't believe some of these photos, really great work. I love the contrast of texture and light in both cloud and snow. 9

very nice! there is not much about the picture that I don't like except for the two limbs on the left, I find that they are a little distracting.
