Drummerboyby FalcComment: Powerful. Love the desat if thats what you did. See a slight overblurring but for the most part, it works for me. 9 may bump later. |

A Curious Shrineby RKTComment: I'm confused, but isn't that typical for a dream? I would have straightened the image and cloned out the hot spot on the chair. I really want to know what the mirror is reflecting and since you have arisen my curiousity and evoked an emotion, I will give you an 8. |

Dreamin' of Homeby rayg544Comment: The Beetles song keeps rolling through my head...The image itself is well done without the 'ghostly' figure. Probably just me but I dislike that effect. 7 for now, may bump after viewing others. Good Luck! |

a grey day in montereyby kmbr2001Comment: like the red umbrella. Guessing you bumped up the red channel because the sand and hand are off color. Maybe complete desat except for red channel would have worked here with a little bump up in the contrast in the clouds. As it is, I give you an 8 for the composition, point of view and crop. Would have liked slightly more drama here - its almost speaking to me, but not quite. working with the tones and colors would improve the score. Really like this image - let me know if you do any further work with it. I'd love to see the results! |

Wide Worldby ImagineerComment: I've decided to bump this image to a 10. I have looked at it on different monitors and at different angles and while some are less pleasing than others I 'think' I know what you were seeing. This is one image that really needs to be seen printed. I think the black and white treatment works amazingly well for this capture and hope you don't see a lot of 'wish it was in color' comments. those people don't know what they are missing! You also may be judged harshly due to the size of your subject. I think this image is beyond that. With the tones you used you opened up so much space that the image encompasses space not seen. Let me know if you decide to make this a print. I will be the first in line. Thanks for posting this. |

Did that guy just take my picture?by kelstertxComment: good capture. I know that doesn't help... What would improve this image for me is a different crop. I know within the confines of the challenge you wanted the squirrel as small as possible but this would work better (for me at least) cropped a little more tightly. The colors here are a little flat which makes the image look a little flat but you captured a great moment. Bet he thinks you are staring him down! I'd like to see work on this outside the challenge as I believe it has great potential but right now, is not quite there. Good Luck! |

Color me Springtimeby TruegshtComment: I understand what you were going for here but the harsh white background detracts from the beauty and color of the flowers you captured. I really wish I could have seen the same arrangement in front of a different background - I like the colors you used. |

the Old Padlock.by kiwinickComment: Love this image. The red is a little on the pink side for me but this is compensated for by strong composition. Wish thouse drips weren't there! 9 from me - good luck! |

Texas Vistaby crabappl3Comment: If the left side of the image could have been lightened just a hair this image would have scored higher. This darkness hides details I would have loved to see. I like hte light on the tree - pulls your eye to the tree. 8 |

Dandelionsby wgoodeyComment: Typically I really hate it when parts of things are amputated to create an image (people's feet are my pet peeve). However, in this case, I think it works. I think this is probably the first image that successfully portrays a dandelion as a monument. Yes, to me they look regal and noble and enduring. Not an easy thing to do. If the image had been slightly sharper with regard to the head of the dandelions, I would have scored this higher. 9 from me! Good luck! |
