I was again inspired by my "stuff"...it's all a bit skewed...but then again it's all a dream...right? I used natural and "un-natural" light, a long exposure and a flashlight to do some fill lighting. I did very little in PS, a small levels adjustment and a light application of unsharp mask and a wee bit of dodging and burning...nothing that couldn't be done in a physical darkroom...I didn't want to go nuts with photoshop effects...keep it simple, keep it honest and let the camera tell the story...oh...and the little "shadow" under the chair is my cat Lulu...the other two are on the bed, Salem is that black blob in the quilt and Henry is in that little hut thingy on the bed...but you really can't see him due to size constrictions.

I knew this would not finish at the top, but I never dreamed of being so close to the bottom. YIKES! Maybe I'll go for a brown next time. And to all who hand out 1's and 2's...howz about you start sharing why...surely it couldn't be that this didn't fit the "theme"...{{{sigh}}}

This photograph has a rather surreal feel to it, which I kind of like. On a technical note, the way the scene is lit is not particularly good at directing my attention toward the interesting parts of the image. The white wall on the left is dramatically brighter than anything else in the image, while the room beyond is relatively dark. The strong difference in brightness combined with the strong dividing line of the door frame makes this feel almost like two separate images. Without the other side of the door frame on the right side of the image to anchor the scene, I'd be tempted to think that this picture contained two unrelated compositions.

I love this image because it is just like most dreams - surreal and nothing makes sense. Odd objects and symbols are everywhere and make you go 'What???'

Very curious. I love the cat's expression on the vase.

Cool. Like a modern day version of Van Goghs room!

You made me laugh. The cat on the chair is great. Creative.

Something reminds me of Dali but not exactly of a dream, maybe too many things in the image, don't know...

I like this a lot. Its striking in its sharpness and vivid blacks, whites and reds.

I'm confused, but isn't that typical for a dream? I would have straightened the image and cloned out the hot spot on the chair. I really want to know what the mirror is reflecting and since you have arisen my curiousity and evoked an emotion, I will give you an 8.

Not sure what the object of the dream is, but it looks like a cat one..... No real point of focus, except maybe the cat pot on the chair, shadow on floor kind of reminds me of a cat. possible over sharpening on the chair. 7
