My Fair Fillyby lynnesiteComment: softness, noise, blah, blah blah. You've probably heard it all. The lighting is excellent in this image - really adds to the composition. Really like this image. Also don't mind the softness or noise. It gives the image a mood that can't be replicated with neatimage and USM. The capture of movement in this image is excellent. 9 - good luck in the challenge! |

Early morning Blues by XileboComment: Excellent stop motion capture. Good composition. Honestly, the wall detracts but I cannot fault you for that - we take our images where we find them. Detail, colors, crop excellent. 8. May bump later. |

Water Lightby torrenzanoComment: Interesting take on the challenge. I see the water is in focus but because so much of the image is made of other strong elements their softness takes away from the presentation. A shot like this is really difficult to acheive due to the slowness of the shutter. The only thing I can think of is try a higher ISO and smaller aperature. Course that is my opinion. One of my favorite parts of the image is the water drips on the left. Beautiful! |

Mid Day Prowlby jensmustangComment: Good composition but slightly out of focus to my eyes. I would be okay with the cat being out of focus (motion blur and such) but the background also is which detracts from the image quality. |

Beauty of lightby dimitriiComment: Interesting POV. Wish the edges could have been lightened just a tad so the wings didn't disappear. |

princess buttercupby ursulaComment: Incredibly short depth of field. Pretty amazing really. I think this image will suffer from the propensity of DPC voters enjoying tack sharp images. Great take on the challenge. 7 |

Seahorseby shocknurse1Comment: Was this underwater or in an aquarium? I think the unnatural lighting does not enhance what is a great take on the challenge. |
