softness, noise, blah, blah blah. You've probably heard it all. The lighting is excellent in this image - really adds to the composition. Really like this image. Also don't mind the softness or noise. It gives the image a mood that can't be replicated with neatimage and USM. The capture of movement in this image is excellent. 9 - good luck in the challenge!

Water Light

Interesting take on the challenge. I see the water is in focus but because so much of the image is made of other strong elements their softness takes away from the presentation. A shot like this is really difficult to acheive due to the slowness of the shutter. The only thing I can think of is try a higher ISO and smaller aperature. Course that is my opinion. One of my favorite parts of the image is the water drips on the left. Beautiful!

Good composition but slightly out of focus to my eyes. I would be okay with the cat being out of focus (motion blur and such) but the background also is which detracts from the image quality.
