I'm trying to sleep,. Quit with the flash.by cryingdragonComment: Wel this one caught my eye. Very nice crisp image. That border is a little tacky which is what probably hurt you more than anything. I don;t agree with the comment stating you need more space. I think the crop/comp. is fine how it is. |

Dec-moon-rise-(edited).jpgby bvlindalouComment: Beautiful shot. I think if you would have cropped it so the barn was more to the left of the image it would have made a good image a great image. I like it though. The border is a little thick but it doesn't take away from your image. |

In the Dugoutby SquishyBComment: Very nice image. Even though 20th place here is a heck of an achievement I think you could have done better with a little lower angle and showing more of the baseball field and sky. |

Brush Barnby dsternerComment: Beings you want to enter challenges and learn from that I chose this image to comment on. First your image is very small as I am sure you got tons of comments on. I amnot sure what you are editing with but this might help: //www.dpchallenge.com/tutorial.php?TUTORIAL_ID=26
Also remember this is an art site. So you need to seek out interesting perspectives and stuff that shows off the beauty of your subject, beauty is found in everything. Even if it is just a barn take the time to walk around it, get low, get high, try different angles and see what you can come up with. |

Kelly-Chaela-Rose.jpgby BakerBugComment: Well family shots are so hard to critique cause the technicals really don't matter. After reading you comments it makes it even harder just becasue I know this guy just wants photos. He could care less about the background. For suggestions I might would make a tighter crop on just the faces to really capture that natural expression of happiness you have there. Very nice image either way. |

Piper!by BakerBugComment: Very nice portrait. I think a tigher crop might work . Maybe just cropping out the post on the right of the image. You have nice tones in the B/W and nice sharpness. Also a very nice bokeh effect with the background to eliminate distraction. Message edited by author 2006-12-28 22:19:51. |

Driftwood.jpgby VanBergenComment: Very beautiful sky. Also very intersting perspective. Only thing that bothers me and it really stands out is that crooked horizon. Straighten that and you have an awesome image. |
