Nice shot, Mike! Yeah, the border's a little big, but you nailed the DOF and the expression on the cat is terrific. :)

Wel this one caught my eye. Very nice crisp image. That border is a little tacky which is what probably hurt you more than anything. I don;t agree with the comment stating you need more space. I think the crop/comp. is fine how it is.

I thought this was an exceptional shot, Mike. I gave it a 7, and had I finished voting the challenge, would undoubtedly have bumped it to an 8. But what do I know? I thought the background was very nice and the detail on the cat is great. AND I like the look the cat is giving you. Nice work!

Like the picture, but the border is a bit big, IMO.

Oh yeah, I know that look! nicely framed with the sofa arm. The border is a bit much I think as it draws attention from the image itself

6 - Nice moment capture, wish the cat were looking at camera. The 'soft'/oof areas.. not sure. Nice and simple, but perhaps a little more space to the left and variation in frame choice, with also perhaps slightly finer lines, likely make this even better, in my opinion.

Good shot! Isn't that so true with the cats (at least with mine anyway - they have little tolerance with my picture taking).

Very cute :) I love the composition and cozy pose. The eye contact is good. I think this border works very well for the colors within the shot. Good job.

The border really detracts. All you needed, if you absolutely must have one, is a thin black line.

Lovely shot. The lighting and soft background is perfect. I debated about perhaps, having cropped a bit more off of the top of this photo at first, to bring more focus to this cutie.....but, would only have been a tad more. Nicely caught shot.
