Abstract as I perceive abstract? Not an abstract per se to me; more of a very intriguing setup shot using unique items as props.
Do I like it? The cheese bear(?) is quite cute and the use of crackers works well for the flooring. What I can't figure is what is on the moustrap - steel wool? Hair? And what is he hunting with what's on the mousetrap?
Technicals? Pretty good. I'm one of those people who actually likes shadows.

Technicals? About average in the technicals - a touch of levels to darken the darks would give it a bit more pop.

Do I like it? Quite like the effect and the lighting on the shell in particular.
Technicals? Good - pure black background is good.

Technicals? Very good - well lit, nice detail, good color.

I think I do like it this dark. His jeans almost look like they're painted. Of course, lightening it up as biteme suggests probably wouldn't hurt either.
