Women & Mapsby lahulfmanComment: Technically this is simply excellent, a real tour-de-force. It's also a very amusing take on a universally recognized battlefield of the war between the sexes, so it's not surprise you got a high finish. In fact, I had it in my personal top 3. Good job! |

Evolution Revolution by idnicComment: Way to go, captain! You just better hope this depiction of the primitive nature of men doesn't cause a backlash against your leadership in Team 20D :-) |

Internal Affairs by MAKComment: Marac, this image has it all. It succeeds at a level far beyond the usual DPC "look", conveying its message with incredible intensity. You've transcended the challenge and created "art" using the theme as a springboard. For what it's worth, I have no quarrel with the double-exposure issue; I'm well aware of how much work went into making this one work :-) |

Any Given Sunday by lkn4truthComment: Excellent job on your first ribbon! Nothing ambiguous about this in-your-face take on the challenge :-) |

Magpieby ShutterPugComment: Very nice one, Linda. The kicked-up spray of snow is the grace note that makes the image sing. |

Mountain Cloud Matchby lexoppositeComment: This is an extraordinary happening :-) Really good eye at work here! Congrats on top-10, and highest ranked non-matchstick entry. |

Immersive Beingby craigesterComment: What a face... The challenge description specifically does NOT include fish and insects, I think to avoid being swamped with aquarium and macro shots, but this is clearly shot in the wild, and I hope you get away with it. It's an eerie, eerie image with the almost-human face, and the title does it justice. Good luck!
ETA: not so clearly shot in the wild, more probably shot in a major salt-water aquarium like Monterey Bay or Boston: my point was more, "not a home aquarium"... |

Prideby yankoComment: Very nice. The way the face in the BG slowly swims up is sweet. |
