The "face" is wonderful, the best of the "traditional" corkscrew faces, but the background here is way too dominant in the image.

a lovely face, I have a love/hate relationship with the cropping. Not at critical sharpness, but it probably is better it is not.

A magic moment for sure, and it made me smile (been there, done that) but the lighting is weak and it doesn't come off as wella s it might.

A strong "almost"... It would help if the lighting defined the slices better, and if the cyan overtones were eliminated.

I like this conceptually. The cropping's way too tight int he foreground, and to my eye the yellow is overpowering the image.

a very unusual photo for sure. I'm not entirely comfortable with it in this challenge, because the pencil itself seems almost incidental to the magic it is working, but what do I know?
