P a t i e n c eby mariomelComment: I admire this shot immensely. The tonalities are beautiful, the whole scene speaks to me hauntingly. As a "silhouette" entry it will probably be seen as marginal by the voters, but I'm willing to accept it as meeting the challenge. Nice work! |

Morro Bay sunsetby beafliesComment: There's so much potential to this, but a lot of it's unrealized IMO. In particular, you could have made the foreground more luminous so the gull playes a stronger supporting role. The rock and fog are remarkable. I know the scene very well, I';ve spent a lot of time in Morro Bay. |
