After The Rainby NeroComment: Beautiful clarity. I like the drops of water on the boots and the grass. The boot appears to be filled with water. interesting touch. at first, I thought that the top boot should be completely in the photo, and not cut off at the top, however, I think I like it just how it is. The rain coat and the little wodden toy are very nice accents. Great color. Overall great photo. Good luck with the challenge. |

Carefree by mcmurmaComment: Very great photo. I love how the background is the sky. he little rainbows in the bubbles ad nice subtle color. Angle and placement are great. Lighting was perfect for this photo. You will probably get different views of the dark clouds at the bottom, but I like them. Great photo and good luck in the challenge. |

Christmas Eveby LindaLeeComment: Very pretty. The angle and focus are great. I like the little touch of light at the top. it kind of represents a christmas light, without actually seeing one. The little pine tree branches work really great in creating a country christmas kind of look. Excelent photo and good luck in the challenge. |

A Place She Never Got to Enjoyby tenebrousComment: To me...this looks like a child looking through a fence at a swingset in someone elses yard, that has long since overgrown with weeds grass and sticks. The lighting is good. I would like to see the whole swing set. maybe a wider view of the same shot. Great job and good luck in the challenge. |

Flying Paper Planes From Grandpa's Roofby amonteforteComment: At first I thought there was a reflection in the airplane, and then I was thinking, How could the reflectin of the sun be on THIS side of the airplane? So I came to the conclusion that you must have printed the photo and turned it into an airplane and then flew it...lol Basically, I have no idea how this was done, but it's a great sun set, definately depicts childhood, and the angle and frame filling are great. Great job and good luck in the challenge. |

Balloonby BAMartinComment: It's strange that the thumbnail of this photo looked really aweful and the large version looks great. My photos are always the oposite. lol. Beautiful colors. I like the angle and placement of the balloon. The lighting gives it this nice gradiation from yellow to orange. Very nice job. Good luck in the challenge. |

forever youngby bernie77Comment: She looks like she likes having her photo taken. A way to keep the reflectin out of the eyes is to take it at a slight angle with the dog not looking directly into the camera. I understand that you can't exactly tell the dog to tilt her head slightly, so no big deal. I like how she's not just sitting there, she's doing something. I would like to see how this would have turned out from a more front on angle instead of looking down at her. I like this angle, but would like the other angle for comparrison. Great shot and good luck in the challenge. |

kiteby eloComment: I think this might have had a higher visual impact if the head of the kite wasn't cut off. It definately depicts an element of childhood, and the lighting and focus are great. The framing could be better. Good luck in the challenge. |

On the beachby manoloComment: Simple and to the point. Great depiction of childhood. i don't know how many unclaimed shovels I see at beaches just lying around waiting for the next kid to come along and play with it. Lighting and clarity are great. Perfect focus. might I also comment on your full usage of the maximum file size allowed. i see a lot of photos that don't use that to their advantage. great placement in the frame and over all really nice photo. Good luck in the challenge. |

Abandonedby BaldurComment: That is an interesting tree. I've never seen one grow that way before. I found that I rated the tree swings a bit higher than the playground swings. I'm not really sure why, maybe because they were more personal to the kids, or maybe because they were more unique. The lighting and angle are great for this photo. I like how the house is way in the background and there is a little path leading to the swing. Great shot and good luck in the challenge. |
