WILDLIFE AS CANON SEES IT.by RfariasComment: I wish you had been able to get the entire head of the back goose into the shot. Otherwise, it's a very nice photo. Clarity and focus are both nice. Lighting might be just a tad harsh on the front gooses neck, and the back goose, near the water. Nice shot. good luck in the challenge. ~Heather~ |

Waters over Troubled Bridgeby ioComment: Love the title. Looks like you got a bit of water there. We are having flooding problems here too. I love the sign in the shot too...really adds to the humor here. I think this bridge has gone beyond slippery. lol. Great capture. ~Heather~ |

Remembranceby stephanComment: Wish we knew what this was in remberance for. Otherwise, a very nice shot. Even without knowing, it is newsworthy. The focus seems only just a tad soft for my personal taste, but lighting and angle and framing/cropping are all good. Good luck in the challenge. ~Heather~ |

Santa & the sun spotted in Manchesterby PaulkComment: LOL. That's pretty funny. Is there some wide angle distortion here, or is it just perspective issues? I wish the lighting had been better for this shot, but your focus and clarity seem to be ok. Maybe having taken this at a different time of day would have helped the lighting problems. The detail on the front is wiped out by shadow, and santas colors seem a bit dulled, with a couple hot spots. Overall, definately news worthy. good luck in the challenge. ~Heather~ |

New Frizbee Champion Crownedby LindaEComment: The lighting on the dogs back is a bit bright, and the focus is too soft for my taste. I like the angle and framing/cropping that you have chosen though, and It does make for a nice story. ~Heather~ |

Plane Lands on Theater -- Snoopy Spottedby GeneralEComment: I am sure you have your reasons for doing it this way, but I am not real fond of the aqua tint to the shot. otherwise, I wish there were a bit more light on the plane to bring out some more detail. Definately news worthy. Good luck in the challenge. ~Heather~ |
