Feeling Blue

The lighting here is quite harsh on the trees in the upper right and on the side of this mans face. the focus is also a bit soft for my tastes. it seems to have a very noticable left tilt. I do like how you have both the feeling blue and the color blue in the shot. Good luck in the challenge.

THis isn't the angle I'd expect to see this photo. I think it needs a left rotation. The focus seems ok, but lighting is very harsh. the shadows are too dark, and there are hot bright spots in the raft. definately blue though. Good luck in the challenge.

That is a reall cool window. is it in an elevator or something? Looks a bit odd to be just a regular window. Either way though, it's definately got blue. The focus and clarity are good, and the subject is nice to look at. The background is a bit uninteresting, however, That's not your fault. lol Nice shot. Good luck in the challenge.

Very nice. I like the angle and framing/cropping, although might like to see the rest of the gulls wing. (minor detail) the focus and clarity are great. Love the detail inthe gulls wings. Definately a blue shot. The fog adds to this shot in my opinion. I really also like the feel of the photo in general. Nice work. Good luck in the challenge.

a very nice shot of fireworks. Kind of hard to get to look good. I like the blues, and the angle and framing/cropping you have are nice as well. There are a couple smudgy marks to the upper right that I'm not sure what they are, but they are kind of distracting. otherwise a great 'blue' shot. Good luck in the challenge.

You know, my first reaction was that this needs more contrast, however, My shot is similar to this, as I have NEVER seen a photo look the same after it's transfered into print for a newspaper. They are always grey, right? I'm getting marked down a LOT for my decision to make the shot look like a REAL newspaper shot, and I wont do that to you. :) However, there do seem to be a few bright spots onthe rocks. Otherwise, nice angle and framing/cropping, and focus seems nice as well. Good luck. ~HBunch7187~
