This is a very nice shot. I really like the angle and framing/cropping you have chosen for this. The use of black and white is great here. Focus and clarity are great as well. The lighting for the most part is great, except for a small hot spot to the left of the photo. A beautiful horse. Good luck in the challenge.

So Close, So Far Away

The sky is a very pretty blue. The rock though is strange to me. I am not so sure I like the very very dark shadow in the center of the photo. There really isn't anything to help us judge size on these either. I know with nature objects, it's often difficult to do that though. The colors in the shot are nice. Focus and clarity seem good too. Good luck in the challenge.

Remnants of Rain

The drop in the foreground is very nicely in focus. The round white spots in the backgorund though distract in my opinioin. They are too close to the shape of the drop, and some of them are quite near to the drop. Otherwise, definately looks to be untouched by man. The lighting on the subject its self is very nice, and the angle and framing/cropping are also good. Good luck in the challenge.

I wish that a bit more of the holy was in focus. As is, the entire right side of the photo is soft focus, and I think that's uninteresting. However, I really like the subject, and I think that the lighting and focus on the subject is good. The angle and framing/cropping is alright as well. Good luck in the challenge.

This is a great "untouched by man" photo. my only complaint is the blown out branches toward the bottom. Otherwise, the angle and framing/cropping are good, and the focus is great. The lighting on the subject its self is good as well. Great find. Good luck in the challenge.

What in the heck is that?? strange looking thing. Anyway, I like the uniformity of color. The brown theme works nicely. the subject is quite interesting indeed, and it appears to be untouched by man. All the foot prints look like animals and everything. Lighting is nice as well. Great shot. Good luck in the challenge.

Nice shot. I like the use of DOF here, and the focus and clarity are really good. The color is perfect. Definately looks untouched by man. Angle and framing/cropping are really great as well. This was a bad challenge to have in the wintertime. Naked trees aren't the most exciting things in the world. (hey, I submitted one too) This definately goes with the challenge, and the angle and framig/cropping are good. The focus seems good on the tree. Kind of a dreary day for pics, but lighting is still ok. Good luck in the challenge.
