Higher Security for Dead Airplanesby jbeazellComment: Your topic, security & 'dead' airplanes, is well portrayed with this composition. That extra ring of barb wire looks pretty fresh and the field has the elements of what people around the world know of the American aeroplane graveyards (Arizona, my guess is near Tucson?). The light is a bit harsh, could be better to wait for an opportunity with less sun power, longer shadows and a bit warmer light.
On a side note; I don't think this field is for dead airplanes, but a cheap parking lot for planes that have no use at this moment but are still fully functional and can be flown out with little preparation. I know the KLM parks some of their planes in the US desert in the winter. |

Trulli Speedingby wkoffelComment: Great panning, excellent color. I think that composition-wise a more frontal angle would be better, but it is so hard to get good photography positions at these kind of events.
When was this? During the training/qualifying or the warming-up lap of the race. Shame he didn't get any further than 400m or so in the race.

He wants to moveby FotowereldComment: Ping Pong, alle treinen richting Haarlem hebben drie kwartier vertraging! De NS zet geen bussen in, we bieden geen koffie aan, u krijgt geen geld terug, we vertellen niet waarom de trein te laat is en reken maar niet op geld terug. Kaartjes vanaf morgen 8% in prijs verhoogd. Nog een fijne dag verder.
Jammer dat het bord overbelicht is en de overbelichte achtergrond zo dominant is. |

Side Outby qmdiComment: Clean and simple. Technically good, ok composition. I think that a bright (fluor/neon) colored ball in the foreground would give that extra touch to make it perfect. |

Tap-inby spydrComment: The "Ryder cup" image on the ball adds that little bit of extra feeling of quality / pro event, even if it was shot at the local golfcourse. Like the composition and choice of aperture. I think golf is a teamsport, because for many players the caddy gives advice etc. |

Rain Delayby ClubJuggleComment: The raindrops, not only on the chair but also in the air, makes this photo special. Good composition/dof/color. |

Soak Up the Sunby kirbicComment: Love the wide "in your face" composition. Reasonable balance between foreground and background. I think it would be more effective with a more Velvia saturation. 8 |

Balloonsby STEINRComment: Great catch. Nice colors, good exposure. I don't mind the cropping of the two outside balloons, but the underside of the middle one is a bit too close to the bottom of the photo. I rate this an eight, a bit more space and it would be a 9. |
