Good job getting a sport not normally considered a team sport into the challenge. :) Great DOF, and I like the way you have the golf ball positioned. I might have cleaned the pin, then again, I might not have. :) Very nice, 8

I can just hear the foursome behind you while you set up this shot. Nicely done, but a touch more DOF would have made me enjoy the feeling of being on the green a bit more.

Nice macro with your focal point set perfectly at the ball/hole/ Good composition and exposure - barely holding details in the highlights on the ball.

I was wondering how many golf shots would be here.
I like the use of the Ryder Cup ball (team) but think you shold have realigned the image to straighten the pin and removed the brown grass?
I'd love to give this shot a 'four' but I can't (6)

A beautifully done photograph. The ball and the hole are in perfect focus. This is one of my favorites in this challenge.

The "Ryder cup" image on the ball adds that little bit of extra feeling of quality / pro event, even if it was shot at the local golfcourse. Like the composition and choice of aperture. I think golf is a teamsport, because for many players the caddy gives advice etc.

Not what I would consider a team sport normally, but a very nice shot! My only real complaint is the placement of the ball. Putting the Ryder Cup logo to the front to me seems a little like bragging. Having the Titleist logo to the front and the Ryder Cup logo subdued wouldn't have looked so staged.... OK I'm being picky....

I don't see golf as a team sport. However, lovely colours & focus. The logo on the golf ball is a nice tough.

Composition isn't especially compelling for me, but great detail on the ball. Would have liked this shot better with the pices of dirt removed and a cleaner pole since I find those elements in the pic distracting.

clear where it needs to be. Ball shows much detail.

I almost scored you lower for not meeting the challenge. That was until I saw the ryder cup ball. I hope everyone gets this. The Photo itself is done well and definately meets the challenge.

Nice shot, I see you used a ball with a ryder cup logo on it. Was this done intentionally because the ryder cup has 'teams'?

corrrect me if im wrong.

Was about to write another comment on this not being a "team sport" when I saw the Ryder Cup logo on the ball. DOF very good, like it very much. 8.

I was going to say that golf is generally not a team sport, but then I notice you used a Ryder Cup ball, so I guess it qualifies. :-) Good use/control of the depth of field.

i like the crisp focus on the ball, just the little black blur to the right of the ball pulls my focus away from it.

was gonna give this a low score by the thumbnail... but now I see the ryder cup ball and great DOF... - 7

Golf is rarely a team sport, right? I mean, it's individual against individual. I clearly get this image of golf without the players though. The DOF is great to keep you focused on what is important: The ball, hole, and pin.
