Summer's End — Sunriseby Bear_MusicComment: Two compositional comments: Horizon might be straight but it feels like it is a bit tilted to the right and the horizon s a bit in the centre of the frame.
However, the way the lines work and how the boat is position compensates a lot for that. Love the color and the light on the grass vs the trees, the sky and the reflection. 9 |

Gone To Seedby marmalade1121Comment: Starry Eyed Surprise
The lines and the stuff at the end of the lines have great impact, love the soft mood (aperture choice). |

Reachby JutildaComment: This is so perfect, I love the mood that the B&W and slight vagueness have created. Good use of white space (composition/crop) to make the right have more impact. The appearance that there is a foot sticking out with nothing to support it all is weird and great. :)
I love it, 10 and fav (already added it wednesday or thursday). |

Different Drummerby sherComment: Interesting balance between light and dark in the water. The busy birds lead the eye along the top whereafter you go down to the lonely one, leaving the viewer wondering why he's no part of the group.
Good composition, interesting light and contrast, I like the mood of the tone. Restful. 8 |

The Disciple and Leonardoby e301Comment: Difficult stuff. I like the composition and subject matter but I am torn between this presentation or a 180 degrees flip.
It is just amazing what these people paint on the streets. Temporary art. We as photographers try as heck to create something great and these super artists paint the most interesting scenes 3D on the street. Only to be washed away with the next rainfall.

Dew & Lightby anthonyczajaComment: The distant bokeh with the halos is a bit strange but all the other elements like subject placement, contrast, lighting, color and such are very good. 8 |
