Fragileby JudiComment: great shot Judy, the light and processing are fantastic... thinking about it some more, the light is perhaps "too good", I guess there was a reflector there somewhere to smooth the shadows, right?... so it feels a tad too "glamorous" for what you were going after, I would prefer a bit more grit and sharp shadows to increase an impact in this situation |

no, it's not posed. I just waited until he looked at me. I like doing that lately instead of "pure candids" to establish a certain momentary connection with the subject. The reactions can be so different! I think you can learn a lot about a person from this first reaction. |
