Thanks for the ribbon Don, I really appreciate it. However, being mistaken for you is somewhat disturbing. Thanks for the blue h2, greatly appreciated!

A piece of welding glass, taped over the front of my 50mm lens, allowed for the 30 sec. exposure needed to wipe out the background personage.

Most underrated. Feel a bit scared to agree with Don again, though (even with his "Man Ray" comparison).

This was easy for me. You could have told me Man Ray took this picture and I would believe you. Posthumous Blue Ribbon.

I really hope this scores well. It's definitely outside of the box and done well. I normally don't like the black and white processing that leans towards the gray side (non-contrasty), but this I don't mind at all.

I will be honest that I don't understand the connection between the title and the image. I can guess, but it's not clear.

Good luck. Nice image.

For some reason, I'm thinking Posthumous. As in the photographer, not the award. Great depth and richness of tones, and creepy, but in a good way.

Hands are slightly out of focus, but I love the intergration with the tree.
It's a very interesting comp. 6

Fascinating, original, and a bit spooky. Easily my favorite for this challenge.

nicely done! this is a really cool shot and a nice change from some of the boring hand shots. I think the lack of contrast is really gunna kill you in the DPC world. Actually I think even by typical standards the image could use a bit more.
