This image is going to have a polarized voting scale I'll bet. Some are going to like the soft, muted colors, while many (I think) are going to say it's a bit flat and toned down, lacking contrast. It's a wonderful floral image. I would prefer an adjustment to levels I think and bring up the brightness a little with just a touch of contrast boost. Anyway, best of luck to you in the challenge.

I like the feel and tone of this with the simple lines and the background shadow. My eyes are having a hard time finding a comfortable place to rest, like there isn't really any good focal point. How this does ok for you. Good luck.

They look like cold capsules! ;^) You know, the gelcaps... I like the wavy background in the reflection. Nice simple composition. For some reason the image seems a little soft and OOF. Could just be this work monitor I'm using to view it with. Hmmm. Anyway, best of luck to you.

Interesting image with the leading lines of the fencing taking you to a blank wall. This setting could come in handy for some "setup" shots in the future if it's available to you.

Close, but no cigar. Nice composition, but the image is a little over-exposed around the head of the mantis and not quite sharp enough to pull it off. Best of luck to you.

Very nice natural color choice. Works well for the challenge. Compositionally, the image is going to take a hit for having the subject so centered. What's up with the ear tags? Is this from a animal park or something...not that it matters, just curious. Good luck in the challenge.
