Hey, another Washington monument shooter! This shot definitely suffered in score because of size. I have a similar one that's currently my 3rd-highest score, and it's nearly 4 times as wide. It looks like we weren't far from each other, so try it again at full size. :)

I do agree that this picture deserved that 10.. i would have 10'd it also.. just the size is sooooooooo small... here's an idea for you.. if you have windows xp go to windows powertoys and find the image resizer. it's quick and you just download it, (it's free) and right click on the image you want to resize and it will give you 4 options. Small is the one I choose for this website cuz it's 640x480 like what we should have. And my pictures are sometimes smaller than others, but at least the right size. It's an awesome program to use and takes the confusion out of resizing (for me at least). I hope I've given you some help on this.. I would LOVE to see the picture larger though.. it's a GREAT SHOT!!!!

Ahhh, MAN! I was going thru some thumbnails for this challenge to do a little commenting. This JUMPED out at me from the thumbnail. I'm sure you've heard 30 times by now that this is too small, etc... Really a shame. :( I do hope you'll post it in a larger size after the challenge to share, perhaps in a forum thread or something? Take care.

Oh this would have been fabulous if it were larger!
12/07/2006 03:05:21 PM
why so small?
12/07/2006 02:29:17 PM
Wow. That's real small.
12/07/2006 09:11:21 AM
I think there is a great shot here, just wish it were larger.
12/06/2006 07:50:51 PM
Looks like a really great photo, wish it was larger.
Good luck with the challenge.

This looks like a really nice photo, but it is too small to see any detail. If you change the dpi to 72 and the image size to 640 pixels high, it will be a good size for judging.
12/05/2006 06:44:38 PM
Great shot, enlarging it would make it better.
12/05/2006 07:27:06 AM
nice reflection, image bit too small though.
12/04/2006 12:45:52 AM
I think it would be better if this were bigger. Otherwise very nice job. Good luck.

Nice "tourist" type of shot. Average rating.
12/03/2006 05:34:26 PM
Love the shot. Would have scored it much higher if it were bigger.

Nice shot of Jefferson Memorial. I would've liked to have seen a bit larger though. The rules allow you to resize your image to as large as 640 pixels along the long dimension. Your scores will improve if you do...

This the link to how to upload to DPC, so the image will be larger.

Very nice. This would score high if you submitted it full size. As it is it's hard to see. I'll say 7 anyway! :)

Far to small to be judged
12/01/2006 11:07:55 PM
Looks like a good photo, but (and you'll probably get dozens) you need to take advantage of the size maximums! Simply too small to get the viewer into this image.

I'm looking forward to your next entries, because this shot looks pretty darn interesting, and I want to see more!

too small

Looks like a really nice image. Too small to enjoy.
12/01/2006 10:13:19 PM
Nice, but you could have submitted a larger shot.
12/01/2006 04:31:59 PM
Excellent, wish it was bigger, try for the full 620 size.Well done!
12/01/2006 11:08:28 AM
It really needs to be a lot bigger than this.
12/01/2006 10:31:17 AM
Photo is great, size is way too small.
12/01/2006 10:28:00 AM
too small
12/01/2006 07:00:22 AM
Size matters
12/01/2006 12:29:55 AM
Looks like a fine shot. Would've loved to see it bigger though. If you must be hiding behind the small res, that is a pitty. Perhaps the shot can be salvaged? 6
12/01/2006 12:27:02 AM
image is a bit small but seems well exposed.
12/01/2006 12:21:37 AM
Search the forums for how to resize your images when submitting to challenges. Looks like quite a nice shot here, unfortunately being the size of a postage stamp there's not much to see.
12/01/2006 12:10:33 AM
You'll probably have 50 people tell you to submit bigger next time...looks like it was a nice shot but hard to tell at this size.
