This is one of those shots you do for yourself - win or lose. It's a beautiful piece of work Robert. The "noise" adds an element that fits perfectly with this.

MUCH better!!! Even though I wouldn't have scored it too high because it's a zoo shot it still would have pushed a 5.75-6.0 without the green color cast.

I love what damp/wet conditions can do to colors...really makes them pop. This is an interesting assortment of rocks and overall it's a nice comp. The contrast is a little strong and the bottom left shadow somewhat distracting with unfortunate corner placement which takes the viewer out of the frame.

These rocks do bring back memories as I grew up on Lake Michigan and gathered many collections of "pretty" rocks as a kid. :-)

This image has a strong feeling of motion with the stems/lines leading into the depths of this plant. A fine example of what leading lines can do to add a dynamic to static objects. Well seen and captured!

Very nice DOF on this, and you did a great job on exposure considering the light conditions. Spot metered?

I smiled when I saw this during voting and it was one of my higher rated shots. Surprised a little at where this ended up. It was a hit for sure with those that commented on it during voting, averaging a score of 8.

The editing on this is very nice. Great detail in the original capture certainly was there. The natural colors really pop on this. From my seat I'm not seeing anything needing attention...wonderfully done!
