I like the building(s) but I think it would have more pleasing to see less of them. The wider angle here shows the various skews and lines that aren't straight to the edges. Maybe a perspective stretch in post could have helped? Don't know, but it seems like too much IMO. Good luck.

Pretty amazing that even at a shutter speed of 1/1000 there's still a slight bit of motion blur in the bird on the right. Meant to comment on this during the challenge and forgot to come back to it. I really enjoyed the perspective of this entry and found it to meet the challenge quite well.

Different perspective

I thought this was an interesting end product, but didn't see how this was "above" anything - more of a side view of the castle. So you probably got dinged on voting from both aspects. However, I disagree with roz in that you weren't "slaughtered", this image placed 25th out of 62. Placing higher than 60% of other entries isn't terrible, perhaps not up to expectations, but still "ok-ish" (is that a word?). :-)

I'll be watching with interest as to how this plays out with the requested validation.
