 Actually quite surprised with all the lovely comments. I had nothing for the free study up until the last day of the month due to the fact that I’m not really shooting for challenges any more, this is a photoshoot I did with a big family. This little girl had the sweetest little haircut and pretty little dress which was just perfect for the scene that I captured her in.

i noticed this in voting and thought of you .
it has your stamp all over it ..
its a stunning and whimsical image .. i particularly love her little curled over hand .. and her concentration ..
congratulations on such a beautiful photo and the ribbon .. i bet the parents are thrilled with this .. :)

Beautiful. You have captured a wonderful moment in time. The composition is outstanding in time and place. The processing is wonderful. I really like the soft sepia tone. Having grandaughters this image really touches my heart. My favorite of the challenge. 10 from me!

Beautiful shot but I think it would benefit and bring more attention to the little lady by cropping 20-25% off the left side.
