WHAT?by MaryOComment: Not sure that super shallow DOF was what this challenge was going for? Especially without something in the bg to look at, be drawn into. That being said the expression on this birds "face" is priceless. :-) Slight nit ... a little bit washed out and could use a dose of contrast IMO. Shot thru a window maybe? |

Washed upby LevTComment: :) This made me smile. Have no idea if this was posed or found, but don't care - still fun and meets the challenge well enough too. Good luck. |

somewhere in a village by TiberiusComment: Nice subtle use of a leading line (with interest) that pulls us into the photo, even though the bg is blurred there's still a sense of depth to it. |

A Red Foxby RefocusedComment: This is a nicely captured image of this fox. Maybe could be a tad sharper in the face. The thing holding it back for me is that the fox is squarely in the center of the frame. There's no distinct foreground / background here IMO. |

Rocketby hajekaComment: I'm torn on this one. Yes, there's a foreground object that fits the overall image and contributes to the background, but I wish it was all in focus (quite shallow DOF). |

A day at the Ski Slopeby MonaComment: This is fun to look at and meets the challenge well. Kind of wish that cart wasn't there but that's not your call. Well seen. Good luck. |

Doll in soft focusby ladpupmoeComment: Lovely overall. Don't hate me but why wouldn't you fix the hair or line going across the dolls right eye? Looks like a hair? So much attention to detail otherwise to set this up. Nit? Yes. But the eyes are a huge part of this image. The first thing we're drawn to as viewers. |
