Yes, I did my best. I had to close the aperture to try to get better DOF which meant very little light was coming in, hence a longer exp.

I stood on the ground, holding a D60 with a 75-300 in one hand, while I used my other hand to remove the 6th rim that was in the way.

1/10th of a second is not that long of a time :D

I keep coming back to this one trying to decide whether I like the border or not. I think, in the end, that the border helps the image rather than take away from it. I was particularly bothered with the aliased top & the bottom, but I am convinced now that it is good. 7.

Image appears tilted to the left a little bit. You also have some undesirable light reflections that could have been burned a bit. Grayish background is not contributing in the best way, and the tight crop both at the bottom and on the top is excessive. Just my opinion, take it for what its worth.

Nice photo. Things that could have made it better for me:
- the backlight has green hue, and creates some overly hot areas at the model's hair ends.
- there are two lines across the model thighs/shins, that should have been cloned out.
- there is a branch with some leaves at the right edge of the photo about 40% from the top which steals attention, that could have been cloned as well.

Otherwise, probably a top-50 photo. 6.

I like the relation to cinco de mayo here. But this image does not stand out to be serious contender for the top 10. 6 for the idea and the effort.

Very cute! However, something is bothering me on the very right side - you should have cropped it, along with the left side, even at the risk of cutting off the paw. It's cut off already, and the lines just draw too much attention. 5.
