freakin_hilariousby freakin_hilariousComment: Hey, nice tribute ;) should I be honored or ticked that you got 0.3 points higher than me?
Or worse still that you actually own a real book that contains things that make you go...... :) |

GoldenEyeby MelethiaComment: I am not a bond fan - I generally lose interest after 5 minutes or so -and I don't think I've seen that one, but on its own merit, this is a truly beautiful shot. |

In God We Trust!by theONE77Comment: No offense, but photographically, this is an awful pic.
Content wise on the other hand, it's totally great!
I've always found such a powerful irony in the statement on money 'In God We Trust".
It's hard to portray, but kudos for giving it a whirl! |

"What do you mean, did I check the Expiration Date?"by rkligmanComment: That's disgusting. Sadly, it reminds me of a friend of my mother's whose husband deliberately sabotaged his prophylactics because he wanted children and didn't give a ____ about what his wife thought.
He had 4 children this way, one of which has severe physical handicaps, one of which has moderate ADD and the other two are fairly normal teenagers...
Of course he left her for a younger woman after his deeds were done and the story is actually much longer and much more heartbreaking than this, but that's what it reminds me of.
It's also a good reminder for the reality of the responsibility that people undergo when engaging in sex. Especially youngsters who have little real education in such matters. |

Evening Flightby cloudsmeComment: agreed. WAY underrated. I've often seen large flocks of birds in the evening and wondered how I would get a nice shot of them.
Starlings used to be my favorite in Canada, but I've seen some pretty impressive other birds around here too. Tough to light egrets evenly though because they don't fly so close...
This is excellent technically, but I like how - without a definitive subject - the picture has its own personality with the gradient of the sky and just the sheer complexity of shapes.
Certainly a photo in a class of its own... Ok, maybe 'photo without a subject'... :) |
