No offense, but photographically, this is an awful pic.

Content wise on the other hand, it's totally great!

I've always found such a powerful irony in the statement on money 'In God We Trust".

It's hard to portray, but kudos for giving it a whirl!

I'm sure some were offended (e.g. 15 '1's), but I am astonished at how many people didn't get this. Well, nice try, some of us really appreciated it.

HMm dont see how those would be your "last words"

There's nothing duller than a flat piccy of currency, notes, coins, cats or dogs. Nothing here to really make me want to stay and look at it.

Even given the subject there is a huge amount you could have done with some very basic lighting.

For this type of formal collage to work I think you would need to flatten the bills. Maybe iron them or something. I'm too distracted by the not quite straight lines and almost symetrical layout.

heheh! wish it were sharper though. Still like it

yes, god dollar, god euro, god corona...... a modern polytheistic religion :)

WOW. Terrific concept well executed.

I'm not gettin' the motive at all... And it doesn't seem as if the picture was taken from directly upwards, which kinda throws it off.

I think by far this is one of the best pictures and titles of the Challenge. I really would have like to see it portrayed on a different background. But a awesome idea and picture non the less.

Very blurry.
11/29/2006 10:18:36 PM
seems to be out of focus
11/29/2006 08:25:09 PM
Provacative title.
11/29/2006 05:09:15 PM
I don't understand how this meets the challenge
11/29/2006 02:24:04 PM
The focus is not clean and the composition needs improvements.
The idea is good but the photograph could be much more artistic.

Sorry, I don't get it: was has "in god we trust" to do with bills from Japan, India, Iran, etc.?
11/29/2006 02:08:20 PM
Nothing in focus and I'm having a hard time relating In God We Trust as last words and tieing it to the overall picture. Also, the green scaley background is very ummmm clashy.
11/29/2006 01:37:42 PM
A lot of the notes seem to be out of focus, and I'm not sure whether they're laid out that way for a reason?
11/29/2006 01:18:54 PM
How do these bills relate to the words, other than that they appear on the money? And how are those words "last" words in some sense? Maybe your notes will help explain it? Sometimes context provided by comments makes all the difference in the world, but DPC focuses on purely the image and title.

Aside from that, the shot is dimly lit with low contrast.

trying to make a statement I guess... I am not sure what
11/29/2006 09:23:16 AM
not very sharp ... sorry

Okay concept, but photo itself is kinda dull. Try working on the lighting to bring out more details in the currency. And the green background is very distracting.
