Comment:
The texture in the bridge is pretty cool, even though the processing is a little over the top for my taste. The image seems to have a slightly desaturated look, which kind of suits it.

While I am a true believer in this, and respect your view of this fitting into the challenge; for me, it is not "in the spirit of the challenge" in a challenge for Bridges.

I like the scene very much, but for me, it really calls for more processing. I'm definitely not a "purist", so do see things differently! Beautiful view though!

I'm generally not a fan of images that are "fuzzy", usually even when that is by design. This however, really caught my attention. I love the very artistic look of the image, and it clearly conveys the feeling of a "savanna" in the wild.

This looks like it should be a print. I love the toning and the soft feel. I think I would have cropped out the distractions to the left, just at the edge of the small building (IMO neither the bldg or small tower, or the sky on the left really "add" to the image, and to eliminate them would put all the focus on the bridge and the larger tower). That would have made it a more powerful image for me. As I said, just my opinion! I do enjoy the image!

Wow, what a crazy sky! I like composition of this a lot. I think I like that black and white too...all tones and no distractions. A little over-sharp for my taste range, but doesn't really take away from the image.

I do like this, but I feel like I want more sky...this feels somehow restrained to me. Still nice though!

Love this. I'm a sucker for fog anyway, but I like the lush look, the soft background and the very cool tones.

And btw this is a fantastic picture - and for purposes other than DPChallentge, your editing choices are right on in terms of the scene and mood. Love it.

I applied the cloud texture at only 20%, and did lower the opacity across the houses...I did not see anything in the rules that disallowed that, so if that is part of the rules, I missed that. For me, if you are explicity allowed to use layers & layers masks, that assumes the ability to lower the opacity or completely mask part of a layer. When the cloud texture was overlayed on the image, it was barely noticeable, it was after I overlayed the additional texture, then applied additional toning that the appearance of "clouds" really became apparent. I didn't even "think" DQ, since to me, a texture is a texture...but I completely "get" this...the sky was totally flat, and after the editing, it did have the appearance of having a cloudy sky.

Thank you for your question and your kind comments!
