I always like to comment on the shot that had the greatest shift between my top scoring group and a less august placement, and my friend, why am I not surprised to find you there. The startled focus of the giraffe among the chaotic wash of the vegetation is lovely. Congratulations, and commiserations.

Framed and photographed this way, the title, "savanna", seems intimate and personal referring to the animal. Oh Savanna, don't you cry for me... 7

I'm generally not a fan of images that are "fuzzy", usually even when that is by design. This however, really caught my attention. I love the very artistic look of the image, and it clearly conveys the feeling of a "savanna" in the wild.
