Very good neg spc. Composition is off for me, and that detracts from the impact of the photo a great deal. In this case, I would have preferred to see the candle somewhere other than dead center. lhall-6

I like it, but oddly enough, find that I would prefer to see "something" of the flower, not just a white space. This gives me the feeling of a drawing (which is a good thing for me!). lhall-8

Burnin' One

At a night race (AHDRA Motorcycle Racing) some years ago, my husband was walking away from me and stopped to light a cigarette. All I could see in the dark was his face lit by the lighter and cigarette. The whole "picture" looked very mysterious and intriguing and I loved how the "negative space" of the dark emphasized his face. I have always planned to do a painting based on that image in my mind, but thought that it was perfect for the Neg Spc challenge. Thank you for all the great comments, I appreciate everyone's time - and congrats to all, I loved the images in this challenge.
