this would be better with only one candle.

I like how the back candle looks just coming in from the darkness. 5

I think this could be a little sharper.

This looks like it was done with a mirror in the darkness. Really cool effect. I think though that the centering may be off slightly. Probably due to having to adjust angles to keep reflection and glare off the mirror. I really like the melted front of the candle so we can see the flame. I may have liked to see the flame straight upward, but I think it is also good the way it is. I really like the use of the neg. space. the lighting is perfect for the effect chosen. the framing is really good. overall really nice. Good luck in the challenge. ~hbunch7187~

for the candles being centered, they are not totally centered thus making it almost worse than being not centered.

right idea here, just too centered and not enough focus for me. Good luck. Score 6 Justine

Very good neg spc. Composition is off for me, and that detracts from the impact of the photo a great deal. In this case, I would have preferred to see the candle somewhere other than dead center. lhall-6

Up: Good use of mirror. Difficult to get both candle images in focus, but with your extra deep DOF, you got pretty close. Down: The alignment of the candles and their relative placement in the frame.
