Blown Me Awayby SwashbucklerComment: I really like the concept of this shot, but I'm not crazy about the background - it draws my eyes away from the subject. Perhaps a high contrast background, such as white would have been effective. |

mmmm good stuffby CreativeFlyPhotoComment: I thought the beaks were kind of smooth - this one looks all scratched up or something. I like the good clear detail of the feathers. |

A Portrait of Disgustby necrosentientComment: I'm thinking that I don't understand the intent of this photo. To me, this look is not "disgust". I can think of many ways to portray this face, but this would not have been one of them. While I am not crazy about the shot, I do think that your lighting on her face is very good. |

self imageby undieyatchComment: I think this shot is pretty cool. I like the composition, but the small dark places on the left do distract me a bit. |

Introspectionby PtmanComment: I like this shot. I think the lighting on his face is perfect. I might have cropped out most of the stuff on the right side, but then again, it does kind of lend a sense of "place" to the shot. |

Liliby JackoComment: Good capture - especially if this is a kitten! Really like the composition and the lighting. I like the yarn in the foreground - for me it adds interest to the shot without detracting from the subject. |

Sofia by jenaromComment: Nice composition and lighting. This looks like a natural candid shot - I sure wish she was looking at the camera. |

On the Vergeby KonadorComment: This shot feels unbalanced to me. I really want to see just a bit more light on the right side of his face. I like the lighting that makes the clean sharp edge of his face on the left, and I like that the other side fades into the blackness, but I really feel like I need to see just the hint of his features on the right. |
