This is one of my favorite shots this week. the composition is good, and I like the "real" look he has. Great work!

I like the light on this model. Very sharp. I love this man's expression. You really captured him in a moment of repose, it seems. He reminds me a bit of my own father, which makes my vote increase!

Very good use of light. Lots of detail and expression. Make me want to know what he is thinking.

Love portraits that´s not studio work. Lovely shot. Lighting from window is perfect. Great composition. Well done! High score from Sweden.

the bookshelf behind is somewhat distracting. I'm tempted to say I'd have cropped out the right side past his face, but I do like having the extra space, it'd just be better if there were nothing there. Of course I understand this was probably unavoidable. It looks like the light is a little bit harsh as well. I do like the expression and the pose in general. It's a good shot. 7

I like this shot. I think the lighting on his face is perfect. I might have cropped out most of the stuff on the right side, but then again, it does kind of lend a sense of "place" to the shot.

Wow. You've captured the detail on the face beautifuly. Lighting, focus, composition & expression are all great. Well done.

Awesome textured face, but I think this picture loses out some because of the lighting, and maybe the contrast. The background is also quite distracting. Since I'm guessing this is a family member, or someone readily available for photos, I would have tried to put him on a plain or solid background.

Love the light here, good tones also. Nice focus and intersting looking gentleman in a good pose. This is a good shot. Congrats to you.

Now that's my idea of a portrait. Good job. I love the tones and the details. Really like the facial expression. My first 10 this week. Good luck.

Nice shot. I like the lighting but I would have preferred more sharpness on the face. It's the face that defines this photo and it seems just a little soft.

Nice angle, lighting, DOF. A persons face reminds me of a book, only with many more chapters. Good job.

Great expressive portrait photo. I like how he has his head turned towards the light to hightlight his face. Brilliant work.
