Seems a little too blown out for my tastes, but I like the background, the shadowing, and the framing. 7
Update: Ok, so it's grown on me a bit. I think the blown out look works pretty well. It makes the shot much more unique and on second thought I wouldn't reduce the effect at all. I bumped your score up as well.

The balance of lighting has to big extremes for my taste.

Very nice high key work.. the shadows and light work with great strength in this image.. the black shirt creates perfect contrast. The only thing I would change here would be to crop a thin slice off the left to remove whatever that is that is creating the 'edge contrast'... great shot.. = 9 - setzler

Wondered what the purpose of leaving the dark images to the left of the man in this photo?

You could crop the picture better. The black thing on the left side is distracting. Excellent contrast and good composition. One of my favorites this week.

I think this shot is pretty cool. I like the composition, but the small dark places on the left do distract me a bit.

very well done shot!

I feel that you have a lot too much back light, due to the loss of part of his ear and arm. I also would like to see some of the detail hidden by the dark shadows on the right side of his face.

Intense shot......love it. I do however hate the partial ?? on the left side? Crop that out of there. The white is just a bit over exposed, but I love the over all feel here. Good work, congrats to you.

love the contrast and composition. good model too ; )

why didn't you crop the left part that shows the back?

I like this. Think I would have cropped the black line out of the left side though. And a small fill light would have filled out the right side of your face some.
